The Best 10 Eurovision Entries of the 1950s

There were only four years of Eurovision in the 1950s, and all four of them are represented in this table (three entries for each year except 1956 which only gets one). None of the songs made it to our all-time Best 10, but one of them (Italy 1958) did at least achieve international fame as "Volare". Particular congratulations go out to Germany for providing three of the entries (two of them performed by Margot Hielscher). The 1957-9 entries have shuffled about a bit since we first scored their respective years, but not to any dramatic extent.
