ACNC Broadcasting are an independent, public service, radio and TV broadcaster, radiating digital programming from the South Yorkshire Triangle, post-2006. Unabashedly socialist, highbrow, and internationally minded; loved and hated in near-equal measure; the Al-Jazeera of the secular west. Pioneers of digital technology, they broadcast two video feeds and a teletext service from a small studio complex between Sheffield and Worksop. Drunken presenters in cramp, bare, open studios (more like wide corridors), give a no-frills take on television presentation. Alas, the software required to view the station over the net is a little flaky. It works best using the AVWIMP operating system, and absolutely detests Windows.

This site has been another victim of cybercoppicing. It may grow again in time, but for now it's just a list of programmes and the increasingly annoying Teleplayer. The currently boarded-up statistics page may yet be recycled as site stats in the coming months.

Potential viewers should note that since the closure of the AVSoft sub-site, the Catflap software required to view ATV is not conventionally available. Mental empathy is consequently the only recommended alternative. Tune your sinuses to 423 Long Wave for the best signal.
